What is the difference between a gaming computer and a forex computer?

I’m thinking of building a forex computer, and it seems like I may as well just build a gaming computer, but there are special quirks of the forex computer. Can anyone tell me what that would be?

The software for data delivery is probably more important, or just as important as the computer.

What you’re trying to overcome with speed is data bottlenecks. With gaming, it is graphics data problems. All of the moving objects and colors of a game are graphics issues that should be handled by the graphics board rather than the CPU. Obviously, a dual core Quad is going to be better than a single. But you need a good graphics card with lots of onboard memory.

With a trading machine, you’re handling lots of data coming in from outside the computer, processing that data into many different charts and calculating indicators. The graphics is not the problem of a gaming machine. The problem is when there’s a flood of data, like when there’s a report, or around the open of different markets, when markets go wild. I’ve had computers completely freeze for several minutes when extreme volatility situations arise. Sometimes I would have to reboot to get control back, and that can take ten minutes to get back up and running with everything updated and functioning again; obviously, that won’t work for a trader. The software should have a method to throttle that data, because you don’t need every tick, estpecially when the input data is a thousand-fold what it was a minute ago. If you’re using a web browser, rather than a dedicated trading program downloaded to your computer, you have no control over the data feed. A good trading platform like Realtick or Tradestation, will have at least 3 or 4 different methods of sampling and throttling to control high volumes of data. NinjaTrader does a good job, but I’ve got a super fast computer, so I never see any glitches.

I dont think that your AVAFx is the same like Flowindi.com indicators..Flowindi.com is market research group and their Forex indicator is very specifically.I newer see something like this before,it’s actually something brand new on forex market analysis.I hope they will continue in their research..

I trade forex about 5 years. First, I start at maketiva.com. It’s can trade for real but I suggest you to trade with MT4 Broker If you want to be real trader because It’s very good tools for trade and you can choose e-currency or real money to trade ( indepent on Broker ). If you have a good system for trade you can use Expert Advisor for forex with MT4 too.

By forex currency business they refer to the fact that you can make money trading currency. For example if the EUR/USD quote is 1.3200, you buy 1 euro at 1.3200 and when the price goes to 1.3300 you sell your euro at 1.3300. This means you sell something you bought cheaper and you make the difference which is measured in pips. In this case you make 100pips. The pip has a value in dollars from 1, 10 etc cents to 1, 10 etc dollars. Depending on the value of the pip you can gain 10 cents or 10 dollars. forex is about speculating if the price goes up or down. You buy cheap and sell for profit and viceversa.
In a textile company most probably they are exporting the clothes and they need to cover the fluctuation of the currency rate.
For example, suppose the firm receives an export order with the delivery date being in 3 months time. The contract is worth, say, $US100,000. At the time the contract is placed, the New Zealand dollar is worth say $US 0.650. Hence the value of the order, when placed, is $NZ 153,850 (100,000 divided by 0.650). But suppose that the exchange rate changes significantly between the date when the order is received and the date the order is paid for (which we will assume is one month after the delivery date). The value of the New Zealand dollar on payment date is $US 0.680, which means that the firm receives only $NZ147,060 rather than $NZ153,850. To insure against this happening, the firm can, at the time it receives the order, take out a forward exchange contract.
A forward exchange rate contract involves contracting to buy or sell a foreign currency at a future data at an agreed exchange rate. Generally this exchange rate will not be the same as the spot rate at the time the contract is signed, although the difference is unlikely to be large. The difference reflects the differential between New Zealand interest rates and foreign interest rates, which in our example above, would be US interest rates.
A forward contract enables an exporter to “lock in” an exchange rate that will apply to its future export earnings, with this locked-in rate being similar to the spot rate at the time the contract is taken out.
